This site is built with PHP and served via Apache. The directory listing aesthetic is custom-built from scratch. Not a real Apache index, but a faithful imitation with added features and adjustments that doubles as a portfolio interface. Considerable effort was put into adapting it for use on mobile devices.
Each project is a folder. Configuration lives in a meta.json file alongside the assets, no database, no external libraries, frameworks and no CMS. Adding a project means dropping a folder in the right place.
The Apache directory listing is an honest interface. It shows exactly what is there, nothing more. Each project page is its own thing, with its own logic and feel, but built from the same structure. A sandbox: Different sandcastles, same sand.
Typography defaults to Times New Roman. Individual projects can override this. Available typefaces: Times New Roman, Courier New, Helvetica Neue, Georgia, Futura, and a cursive fallback stack. Images are served directly from the filesystem.
Built with PHP, Lua, Git, Sublime Text, and Local Apache. Bug fixing done with Claude.
