Walter Van Beirendonck's world is dense — graphic, fantastical, unapologetically loud. The brief for his store space at Dover Street Market Beijing was to translate the energy of the upcoming collection into a physical environment. Working directly with the DSM Beijing team, I developed a space that carried his visual language while giving the new collection room to exist on its own terms.
